The economy, environment and opportunities for New Zealand: a futures resource
This report summarises an international scan of sustainable development. It focuses on three key issues or drivers of change, energy and climate change, water and food production and urbanisation. It looks responses to these changes, focusing on consumer trends in developed countries, business response, trends in government interventions, investment sector trends and science trends.
The report has primarily been prepared for the government sector and it is likely to be of strong interest to the business sector also. We hope it will help inform both policy development in government agencies and business strategy development.
